When you need to throw together tasty bites in a flash, slice up some raw carrots, celery sticks, or apples, and serve them with a bowl of almond, hazelnut, or peanut butter. If you have a bit more prep time, grab a mixing bowl or blender and create some exciting savory or sweet spreads. For a sweet option, mix with Greek yogurt, honey, and cinnamon for a delicious dip. Or try combining almond butter with cocoa powder, date syrup, and a few tablespoons of hot water — it’s a guaranteed hit.

The same works wonderfully with hazelnut butter if you’re out of the deluxe version or its vegan alternative. For a savory dip, blend hazelnut butter with roasted beetroot (or carrot) and fresh orange, season with salt and pepper, and serve with toasted pita slices. Peanut butter blends beautifully with soft cream cheese, cooking cream, and brown sugar — this combo will take even the simplest apple slices to a whole new level. You can enhance the flavor even more with a bit of melted dark chocolate. If you're looking for something lighter, skip the cheese and mix with roasted pumpkin and cinnamon instead. For a spicy savory dip, season with soy sauce, Tabasco, garlic, and lemon juice, and loosen the texture with coconut milk instead of water.
