To accompany the higher alcohol, full-bodied dessert beers, we have designed a blend that is both sweet and spicy. So the Chinese five-spice blend became the star – but it also counterbalances the sweetness and body of the beers a little – and tart cranberries were the winner. Ingredients: peanuts, cane sugar, almonds, hazelnuts, dried cranberries (dried cranberry, sugar, sunflower oil), Chinese five-spice powder (cinnamon, star anise, cloves, fennel seeds, Sichuan peppercorns)
