Smoothies Made with Mendula Nut Butters

We have some tried-and-true combos — try a strawberry-banana smoothie with vanilla cashew butter, or a bowl of Greek yogurt with raspberries and almond butter. One of our most beloved healthy smoothie recipes is peanut butter with banana, a pinch of cinnamon, and rice milk. 

Our deluxe peanut butters pair wonderfully with banana and vanilla ice cream, but they’re also exciting with fresh strawberries. If you’re not watching your calories, toss in a few sweet biscuits and enjoy the harmony of flavors!

For cozy winter flavors, try pairing it with roasted pumpkin or sweet potato, and add cinnamon, ginger, and a splash of maple syrup. 

Almond butter and peanut butter are truly versatile — both pair perfectly with classic flavors like banana, strawberry, blueberry, and cocoa. Don’t hesitate to try them in veggie blends too — beetroot pairs well with raspberries and cocoa powder, spinach with pear and matcha tea. And the trio of kale, avocado, and banana will power you through the morning.

Extra tips:

If you’re vegan, boost your smoothies with hemp protein — it contains all essential amino acids. 

Add chia seeds, ground flaxseed, or superfood powders to your smoothie to max out your daily nutrient intake.

Add a bit of rolled oats before blending — serve your thick smoothie sprinkled with our granola.
