Fun fact: more than half of the peanuts grown in the world are used to make peanut butter. Not surprisingly, as the peanut butter and jelly sandwich is a classic everyday breakfast of American kids.
Try the unflavored, additive-free peanut butter spread on good quality sourdough bread with low sugar homemade jam and you’re all set for an insanely delicious, healthy, protein-rich breakfast!
You can also put this peanut butter in a smoothie (our favorite is the banana-peanut-yoghurt/coconut milk smoothie) or top your oatmeal with a spoonful. It’s wonderful in cakes (such as brownies), but our most favorite use of it is for the Indonesian satay chicken with peanut sauce - the unforgettable main character of summer grills!
